Only a couple of kilometres to the north of Scarborough in Western Australia Trigg beach has one of the best surf breaks in the state. Trigg’s moving sandbanks over it rocky outcrops make good strong surfing waves.

Besides the surfers, boogie borders and swimmers, Trigg is also attracts joggers, cyclists, roller bladders and walkers who take advantage of the picturesque pathway that runs parallel with the beach.

Bottlenose dolphins play out at sea so you may be lucky and spot some of them, and Trigg is a haven for birds with silver gulls, crested and fairy terns and pied cormorants.
