Brisbane Airport (BNE) has two large and busy terminals, each serving a number of major airlines.
 
Brisbane (BNE) Airport T1 Domestic Terminal - serves a large number of domestic Australian airlines, including Qantas Airlines, Ansett Australia, Virgin Blue and Jetstar.
 
Brisbane (BNE) Airport T1 Ground Level - airport check-in, situated on the ground floor for all domestic airlines.

Transfer between Terminals:


The Domestic and International terminals are connected by the inter-terminal shuttle and which is operated by Airtrain (tel: 07 3216 3308; website: www.airtrain.com.au ).

Driving Directions:

The airport is located on Airport Drive and has its own access road off the Gateway Motorway roundabout. From Brisbane, take the Kingsford Smith Drive to the Links Avenue off ramp and on to the Gateway Motorway.

Car Rental:

Car hire companies include Avis, Budget, Europcar, Hertz and Thrifty. Desks are located in the International and Domestic terminals.

Public Transport:

Rail: The Airtrain (contact details above) provides services to both Brisbane Central Station, which takes about 25 minutes, and to the Gold Coast. The stations for Airtrain are located right outside the Domestic and International terminals. Road: Taxi: Taxis are always readily available with such companies as Black & White Cabs (tel: 131 998  and Yellow Cabs (tel: 132 227 or 07 3391 5955. The taxi ranks can be found at both the Qantas and Virgin Blue ends of the Domestic Terminal and also outside arrivals which is on the second level of the International Terminal. Limousine: Limousines are also available and you should contact the Visitors Information Centre (tel: 07 3406 3190) for more information. Bus: Airport buses are available from both terminals to the Brisbane Transit Centre in Roma Street, the Gold Coast and the Sunshine Coast. A door-to-door service is also available. Brisbane (BNE) Airport car parking facilities have three different tariffs. These are short term airport car parking, long term airport car parking and undercover airport car parking.

Both the Domestic and International Terminal buildings at Brisbane (BNE) Airport have short-term parking available and they are open 24 hours a day. The airport's short term car parks are located just outside the terminal buildings. A charge is made for the initial 30 minutes, and then you pay per hour. Payment for short-term parking at Brisbane (BNE) Airport is made by either using cash or credit cards at the automatic pay stations when you depart.

Long-term car parking at Brisbane (BNE) Airport can be found next to the main airport international terminal building. With reasonably Prices are reasonable and every seventh day is free. Undercover Car Parking:

An undercover car parking area at Brisbane (BNE) Airport can be found near to the Domestic Terminal building and offers sensibly priced, safe parking, with approximately 4,000 car parking spaces. Every seventh day is free and Brisbane (BNE) Airport's undercover car park is open 24 hours a day and is within easy walking distance of the terminal building. A valet car parking service is also offered at the Brisbane (BNE) Airport undercover car parking area.
 
Disabled Airport Car Parking

All of Brisbane (BNE) Airport's international car parking areas have spaces reserved for disabled passengers who hold disabled parking permits. These can be found in front of the airport's terminal. These disabled car parking spaces are clearly signed in Brisbane (BNE) Airport's car parks. Wheelchair set downs are also allowed at the airport's Departures Level 4 and Arrivals Level 2, in the BNE Domestic Terminal, and on the main airport arrivals level.

Airport Facilities:
 
Money and communications: The International Terminal has bureaux de change facilities and ATMs on levels 2, 3 and 4. The Domestic Terminal has bureaux de change facilities on level 2. Payphones are situated throughout both terminals. Eating and drinking: There are plenty of cafés and bars at the airport. Shopping: A large range of shops is available, with duty-free located in the International Terminal. A pre-order and pick-up service is available (tel: 1800 814 023). Luggage: Lost property offices are situated in both the International and Domestic terminals. There are no left-luggage facilities at the airport, due to security requirements. Other facilities: There is a first aid room, baby change rooms and a non-denominational prayer room in the International Terminal. Showers are available in both terminals.

Conference and Business Facilities

The airport has conference and meeting facilities in the International Terminal (tel: (0)7 3406 3000; e-mail: info@bne.com.au) for groups of 12-50 people. Various airline lounges are situated in the International Terminal, including a Qantas Club Lounge (tel: (0)7 3307 9212). A Qantas Club Lounge (tel: (0)7 3867 3400) and The Blue Room (tel: (0)7 3114 7122), operated by Virgin Blue, are situated in the Domestic Terminal.

Facilities for Disabled Travellers

There is ramped and lift access to all floors, wheelchair-accessible toilets, and shops and dining areas designed for disabled people in the International Terminal. Disabled car parking spaces and wheelchair set-downs area available too.
