Airport News:
Terminal 1, the airport's new US$260m terminal integrating the domestic, international and GA terminals in one building, was completed in 2005. The terminal can handle up to 27 aircraft at the same time, and check in 3,000 passengers an hour during peak periods through 42 check-in desks.

Driving Directions:
Follow Sir Donald Bradman Drive from Adelaide city centre and turn off down Sir Richard Williams Drive after 5km (3 miles).

Car Rental:
Avis, Budget, Hertz and Thrifty are represented at the airport. Car hire companies have desks located on the arrivals level.

Public Transport:

Road: Taxi: There are taxi ranks at the Domestic and International terminal forecourts (journey time to the city centre: 15 minutes) and all taxis are metered.

Bus: The Skylink Airport Shuttle operates every 30 minutes from the terminals during flight operation hours and links the airport with the city centre.

Car Parking:
Dropping Off / Picking Up Area
Drop-off / pick-up zones are available at Adelaide Airport (ADL). Passengers can be dropped off directly outside of Adelaide (ADL) Airport's terminal buildings free of charge. Cars cannot be left unattended in this area and parking in Adelaide Airport's drop-off / pick-up zones is only for short periods of no more than a couple of minutes. These parking areas at Adelaide Airport (ADL) are always closely monitored so beware!

There are ample short-term car parking spaces and you collect your ticket as you enter Adelaide (ADL) Airport's short-term parking area. You should keep these tickets with you at all times as they are used to pay upon leaving Adelaide (ADL) Airport's car park.

Long-term car parking is available at Adelaide (ADL) Airport and is located quite close to both Adelaide (ADL) Airport's Domestic Terminal and International Terminal buildings. These long term airport car parks offer cheaper parking than the airport's short-term car parking.

 

 

Disabled Airport Car Parking
Parking spaces that are near to both Domestic and International Terminal buildings at Adelaide (ADL) Airport, are reserved for disabled passengers who hold the relevant parking permits. These disabled car parking spaces are signposted clearly in all Adelaide (ADL) Airport's car parks.

There are three airport terminals at Adelaide (ADL) Airport. These serve many of the world’s major airlines within the airport and a convenient transfer courtesy bus service is available between Adelaide (ADL) Airport's terminals. This service is operated by the Airport Bus company.
